This publication is also already the fourth edition a sign that that the former publications were a success. Indeed this e-book is of the same high quality again revealing very profound information about all kind of airline lay-outs, colour designs, applied materials, maintenance of the cabins including the toilets, pantries etc.
The different classes of the airlines involved in this book i.e. first class, business class and economy are shown in all variations in a period of more than half a century clearly showing the evolution of the designs with only one purpose: attract passengers! Also the environmental footprint is considered in the design of the different cabin lay-outs together with lighting, inflight dining and on board sales. What is also very special is the possibility to navigate outside the e-book to associated websites mentioned in that paragraph.
What makes the reading a real happening are the very richly illustrated pages with beautiful colour prints that support the subject. Literally every page is covered with high class illustrations. There is too much to cover in this review all the subjects even the menu of web hosted content with videos, case studies and pictures of galleries is overwhelming. It took me quite some time to read this e-book because the information it contains is enormous. For readers interested in the architecture of the different airlines but surely for professionals involved in the marketing and sales of commercial airlines and the interior designers an absolute must read!
